Jazz and classical music legend Paquito D'Rivera and Restless publisher Ilan Stavans kick off the Miami Book Fair International with a discussion of D'Rivera's musical memoir Letters to Yeyito and the Restless Classics edition of Don Quixote, introduced by Stavans. Since its foundation thirty-two years ago, the MBFI has been recognized as the nation’s finest literary festival. The Fair will open Sunday November 15th with the popular Evenings With… series, featuring six nights of readings and discussions with noted authors from the United States and around the world. On Friday, the Street Fair gets under way, the highligh being the Festival of Authors, with more than 450 authors reading and discussing their work, including the Latin American and Spanish authors who participate in the IberoAmerican Authors Program. More than 250 publsihers and booksellers will exhibit and sell books.
