On Saturday April 30, Chris Abani, author of The Face: Cartography of the Void, will appear at the Harold Washington Library for Chicago's annual Poetry Fest, co-sponsored by the Poetry Foundation and the Chicago Public Library.
Poetry Fest is an annual poetry showcase held by the Chicago Public Library every year on the last Saturday of April. Each year, the fest presents dozens of poetry readings and spoken word performances by artists both local to Chicago and from around the world. It also hosts several workshops and other exciting activities that are open to all ages as well.
