We’re thrilled to launch The City of Good Death with Priyanka Champaneri live in conversation with Grace Talusan at Greenlight Bookstore.

Priyanka’s transcendent debut, winner of the Restless Books Prize for New Immigrant Writing, immerses us in India’s holy city of Banaras, where pilgrims go to die a good death and be released from the cycle of reincarnation. The City of Good Death is “a breathtaking, unforgettable novel” (Foreword Reviews, Starred Review), “exquisite” (Booklist), and “epic, magical” (Publishers Weekly). She’ll be joined by Grace Talusan, fellow winner of the Prize for New Immigrant Writing for her memoir The Body Papers.

When: Tuesday, February 23 at 7:30 pm ET

Where: Greenlight Bookstore (Brooklyn, NY) via Zoom. Purchase The City of Good Death from Greenlight.
