We’re thrilled to introduce Iranian author Javad Djavahery to English-language readers across the country this spring. In his extraordinary English debut My Part of Her, a group of friends spend a heady, magical summer on the Caspian Sea in the 1970s—and a moment of folly transforms all of their lives in the wake of the Revolution just a few years later. “Mesmerizing” (Publishers Weekly) and “vivid, shattering, and utterly memorable” (Kirkus), it’s introduced by Dina Nayeri and beautifully translated by Emma Ramadan. We hope you’ll join us at one of these events!
